How many US states do you remember?

US states

Some people remember 52 US states, while there are only 50 states in the current reality. A few people seem to remember 51 states or even less than 50 states.

This may have to do with the two state we once had above maine in the 1800. Was shown on old maps. Which would make 50 but by the time alaska/hawaii came out their was 48. Maybe the last 2 was look at as 51 and 52. Obama did slip and say 56 once, not couting alaska and hawaii.

I alway remembered 50 myself and study that alot. But could be 52.
